The biggest example of something getting away from them before this was probably the car that went under the semi and then went up the embankment that was at the end of the road to stop it, flipping over onto the other side of the wall. Luckily, there was just an empty field over there.

Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own
This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]
The Mythbusters guys handled themselves really well on the 11 PM news.
Any Survivor talk here? I want Ozzy to win, and hope the snippet shown for next week (final ep, I think) is merely suspense-building editing re his competition on Redemption Island against the most recently-voted off person. It has me in suspense at the moment, that's for sure. I hope Brandon is the next to go. Can't stand him.
Buddytv's slideshow of the best moments of TAR 19.
Kathy,
I heard that ep will not air.
Brandon is SO damaged and lost. I don't want him to win and I wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him, but I feel bad for him.
Huh, according to a commenter over on BuddyTV, the snowboarders were over two hours behind the checking on the finish mat. So even with the overly helpful cabbies, they probably wouldn't have made it.
Scrappy, are you talking Survivor?
Because in that case, I would love to know what is eating Brandon. There is obviously so much more to his story but I have no idea what it is.
I am, Stephanie. I was sorry to see Cochran go, but loved his last speech.
I haven't actually seen the last ep. But Cochran was an interesting guy to me. He and Brandon are the most interesting of the personalities even if they would both drive me crazy in real life.
Fiendish clues and tasks! If you're going to win a million, you'd better be able to handle them.
Kudos to Ernie for reasoning out what to do about the missing 1 key. I predict Bill or Cathi would have had a big advantage because for sure they encountered similar setups on typewriters back in Ye Olde Days.
(And heh, being a faster typist would not have necessarily helped -- those lever-keys are apt to jam if you go fast. Hunt and peck has an actual advantage....)
If Cindy's parents don't think Ernie is the bee's knees by now there's no hope for them.
Let us pause to admire Jeremy for landing his simulator on the first try. That is SO not easy to do.
