I looked up Nick Lachey and it turns out he lives like 2 neighborhoods over from us in Cincinnati (where his brother, who has kids, lives). And (which I knew) he went to the creative and performing arts high school here, where I think about trying to get Casper into.

Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own
This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]
A very classy parting speech by Michael from Dartmouth Aires followed by a gorgeous swan song (one of the bests we've heard this season, IMO): [link]
AWW. Even though they sometimes fell short musically, I really liked those kids.
Finally saw The Sing Off Finale. I agree that everyone kinda sounded like ass, but how could they not? Poor noodles. They all looked wrung out. I'm very glad that Pentatonix won. In fact, I agree completely with that top 3 distribution (although I still think Afro Blue should've made the top 3). Nick Lachey sounded better than both Ben Folds and Sarah. Who knew? Liked the Smokey/Afro Blue number best of the night.
I'll miss this show.
On TAR, it's amazing how much I don't hate any of the teams left. Even the dating Bickersons (blonde girl and beard guy) are not all that annoying. I'd be OK with pretty much anyone winning. Sad to see Bill and Cindy go, though. I'm still in awe of her 60 year old bikin body. And I loved that the bodybuilding judge was all, "So, you work out? I can tell. I like it" to Bill. Hee. Those two are ripped.
I agree with pretty much every word you just said.
Me too! I was totally impressed by Lachey. He should sing more and talk less.
Yeah, I'd forgotten how nice of a voice Lachey has.
A bit sad about the 'boarders.
But not otherwise unhappy with the results.
Yeah, but it definitely feels like anyone's game, which I appreciate.
But the snowboarders blew thru the detour!? It looked like they got their sandals assembled on the first try!?
It is good news for the other teams, though. Winning is that much more possible with the most ept team out. And yet again, we have three likeable competent teams to cheer for!
I predict the win will come down to a contest of wills between Cindy and Marcus, because they're the drivers of their teams -- which is not to disparage their teammates, who are utterly awesome.
How cute did all the teams look, dressed up as Johnson & Johnson?
Another kudos to the challenge creators who came up with a slew of real puzzles to make the teams work for it.
But the snowboarders blew thru the detour!
They also kind of whiffed the first task, so it does seem like they were not entirely on top of things.
Weird as it was, I loved the taxi driver cabal. Can they compete in the final leg?
