If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

If you had the Pats game on CBS tonight, TAR will be about 55 or so minutes late.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

That was one exhausting leg. Bill & Cindi went out with style and dignity, and also a montage of their best moments so you know the producers and everyone else along on the crew really really liked them.

Did Marcus nail the driving challenge in one go?

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

No, he took two tries for the slalom. But it looked like only two!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Kind of a great blog post from Ben Folds: [link]

Because books.

More than kind of great. That was lovely and honest.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Wow, that *is* a fantastic post. He's right that the amount of exposure Afro Blue got through the show is no less than the final 3 groups and I think he's implicitly admitting that the wrong group was eliminated last week. I like that he's throwing down the gauntlets to the viewers to support their favourite groups in the coming year.

I'm super-psyched for the finale tonight, but also sad that I will no longer get to see these fantastic musicians perform weekly. It's been a ride.

He said in an earlier post that Afro Blue was his favorite group -- I'm actually impressed these are on the NBC site.

OK, I know there's a real story and issue and everything, but I think it's HYSTERICAL that the Dartmouth Aires had a golf charity. Fucking Dartmouth.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

I had to say, even thought I adore Pentatonix, their first performance was kind of a trainwreck. They actually sounded... out of tune. The hell?

Also BOO on failing to mention that the Trevor Project was for suicide prevention in LGBTQ youth *specifically*. I'm pretty sure Mitch (and likely Scott) is gay, which is probably one of the big reasons they picked that charity. It's just ridiculous to mention that charity and smoke-screen it so that it sounds like it's for bullied youth in general. I see heavy network interference, which is appalling.

I totally agree with you on all points. Especially the gay thing, especially because they are promo-ing the crap out of The Voice, which has got to be the most queer-friendly show on TV.
