Doesn't matter that we took him off that boat, Shepherd, it's the place he's going to live from now on.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I feel like the two best ways to go are (1) the team right behind you, because you then know you're gaining on them or (2) a strong team that's not currently in the lead

And in Bill & Cathi's case, the snowboarders were both of those.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

The logic behind turning Amani & Marcus may have been that they were considered so far behind that it would be putting them out of their misery -- up to that point, they hadn't been seen for hours, IIRC. Also, if you grab the U-turn choice, you block other teams from using it, so there's that.

But I agree, the snowboarders would have been a better choice. ANY edge you can get over them can't hurt.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Bunnies! Jumping!! So freakin' cute. And Marcus was hilarious there.

But they were idiots not to look for a faster flight out, especially since that first clue told them they could do so. Maybe they were remember the virgins from S4 who spent a night frantically running from one end of the airport to the other looking for a faster flight and ended up suffering from the worst case of Killer Fatigue ever filmed on the Race (that was the nutbunches ep, one of the best legs ever on this show). Even so, they could have at least tried to look.

I was happy to see the father/son adventurers gone--I was getting really tired of them. But the other team at the bottom could go next, because they are really blah. At least the other four teams have a personality.

Speaking of great teams to watch, Bill and Cathi might be one of my favorite teams ever! They are so great together, pretty laid back, and how long they've been together is so sweet. It's nice to see an older couple doing as well as they have been, and not get on my nerves like that one retired couple from a few races back that just annoyed the heck out of me.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Exactly what I'm saying.

Yeah, and also I can still imagine them randomly surging ahead at some point.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I agree with the comments about the bunnies. I loved them. Just loved them.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Who doesn't love bunnies? and when they're steeplechase bunnies? WIN! I don't even watch TAR and I stopped to watch the bunnies.

Marcus being so hilarious pep-talking the bunny was the only reason I wasn't wishing it was a double or triple elimination.

My roommate and were watching going "BUNNIES! IT MUST BE BUNNIES!" and she was like "Can we get a bunny?!?!"

That was so damn funny. Beau just laughed when he saw Marcus talking to the bunny. Funny thing is, I probably would have talked to the bunny too! Mostly to say "who's a good bunny? who's a good bunny? You are!"

FWIW, I would have guessed that churning the butter would have been the harder and longer task. Never get into an arm-wrestling match with a milkmaid -- grip like iron, arms like steel, all in a petite, rosy-cheeked package.
