"We have trust issues." Mylar

Top Chef: Aw, bye Trey! You went out like a real class act. While I was happy for Team Garage's comeback, why couldn't it have been Howie? Having to see him cook one more pork dish is gonna make me want to holler.

ETA: I saw it coming, too, and was very sad. But the Brians managed to keep it together this time and Trey was responsible for the least favorite dish of the night and as Exec. chef, he was running the ship but still let Casey's less than stellar fish dish get served. And they did kinda just coast on being the (on paper) stronger team.

ION, I am ridiculously excited for Tim Gunn's new show. Let's all pray that Veronica Webb has taken some elocution lessons since her days on House of Style. I'm not even mad at Tim for shamelessly ripping off What Not to Wear. Well, maybe a little bit mad, but I'll get over it.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

I am totally in denial. I thought that Tre was going to go to the end. OTOH, he was executive chef and two of his dishes were bad. Those three factors would have kicked anyone off. I am distraught. BTW, Tre, if you need someone to console you on your loss, CALL ME

TC: And I was just saying that we really hadn't seen Sara do anything major.

I think it was really smart to have Tom in the kitchen to watch the dynamic there. Although, I think that Team April was in a weird spot because CJ got to pick the team and then turned it over to Tre.

Quatre had the most impressive comeback and more positives with the food and Sara ran the kitchen really well.

Harold's blog -- can you believe it? Three blogs up in one night?

And an article about Harold and Perilla.

Okay, avoiding all Top Chef talk until I watch it, but Dick on BB has actually said to Jen/in front of Jen that he wants to tie her up, anally rape her and then watch her bleed to death.

He needs to go. Yes, he's entertaining, but he's crossed so many lines that it's not even funny.

Be Back after I watch my DVR'd Top Chef.

TC: Ah, Damn. I see why they made the decision, but damn.

eta: who are people's top three now?

Oh Tre. I knew you were doomed the moment you said, "I could do a bread pudding in my sleep."

Personally, I think CJ should have gone home. He didn't seem to do anything but make salty lobster and abdicate responsibility. That does not equal a top chef.

The pleasant surprise of the night was Sara. She impressed me.

Me too. She wasn't rude, or hostile, but she was clear on what she wanted and made them redo things if she didn't think it was right, and you saw the exact moment she really became the head chef, as she was talking to Hung.
