"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

The group leaving The Sing Off tonight had the BEST sing off of any group I've seen leave across all seasons. That was awesome.

"We have trust issues." Mylar

I thought Pentatonix tore the house down with their Brit Brit medley. Every week, they get better and better. I also enjoyed the Dartmouth Aires take on Queen. I do think they had some pitch problems that the judges just kind of glossed over, though. Afro Blue was good on the Janet, I thought. I didn't get the whole "You're overthinking it" thing. I just think it wasn't a wow. It was an "Ok." Overall, still far and away the best singing reality show on TV.

And yeah, that sing out was pretty fun. I just wanted them to sing the "pissing the night away" line, but it's a family show.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Yes, the Brit medley was amazing.

I liked Dartmouth, but I didn't think that they did enough original work with the songs. They sounded like very good covers. The only differences were the transitions.

Their singout was fun, I liked that they shouted out the judges and NBC, that was funny.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Damn my dvr! It messed up The Sing-off. At least Oxygen reruns it tonight.

I just finished re-watching last night's ep on Hulu. Maybe it's my TV, maybe it's my ears, but I can hear the bass and percussion much better on the computer. And yeah, Pentatonix is golden. Love that group. They never seem to have pitch problems, their blend is fabulous, and their arrangements are always interesting. They do more with 5 people than other groups do with 3 times that many. I like the Dartmouth Aires, too, but they're not nearly as interesting.

Because books.

Clearly some of you did not watch the (wildly boring) Top Chef: Just Desserts, because they've been promoing it for weeks.

I gave it up when I went away because there needed to be room on the DVR for important things. The Willy Wonka episode was worth watching, but the rest of them nsm.
