"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

FWIW, Here is Uli's collection from 2006:

Because books.

Wow, I had forgotten how much more interest there was in Uli's collection -- shorts and short skirts and separates, not just the caftans, as Kors calls them.

That last dress really was a show-stopper, too.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

The new production team is Bunim/Murray, also producers of The Real World, and it shows.

That explains a lot.

I'm planning to watch All Stars because I really like some of the designers they are bringing back, but after that, I'm probably out.

Yeah, me too. And not bothering to check out Project Accessory.

Thanks for the link, le nubian. Anya was reminding me of Ulli all season but looking at their collections, Ulli's was way more impresssive.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Huh. Still don't see what everyone saw in Uli's collection. Then again, I didn't like Anya's final collection either. I prefer clothes with shapes.

Did everyone this season have a dress in their collection that was basically "High collar, big flowly shapeless thing"? Pretty sure everyone except Victor hit that note. I really do not get fashion, apparently.

Ultimately I thought Josh had the best work out there. Not everything was beautiful, but all of it was interesting. Victor blew it by trying to play the game too hard - he took out some of his best pieces and replaced them with that weird see-through shit.

I don't think Victor had a fucking prayer of winning. He could have turned out Jay's Season 1 collection in total and still would not have won.

I think Anya was going to win come hell or high water. But Victor did screw up by taking out some of his stronger pieces at the 11th hour. The original dress he showed with the white leather jacket, for example, was much stronger than the sheer gown he replaced it with.

Yes, he should have stuck by his convictions.

TAR: Very enjoyable and I am pretty happy that it turned out to be a non-elim. I have to say that I'm really enjoying the teams so far. They seem to be really enjoying the experience.

TAR: How many non-elim legs have they already had? Seems like a lot. I'm glad that the last team did not get eliminated tonight because I like them a lot, but my goodness. It's getting a little bit out of control.

On the flip side, the snowboarders are the luckiest guys on the planet. Has any team ever benefited so much from other teams' mistakes?

I was thinking the same thing. I like it, actually - makes the game less predictable.

Yeah, the snowboarders are lucky - but they are also good. That's an excellent combination.
