And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Just now watching PR, and I'm actually relieved that Anya made it, because I thought Kimberly's clothes were awful. If hot pink bubble skirts are the next wave of fashion, I'm joining a nudist colony.

(And her styling was just...unspeakable. Her models looked like drag queens at an 80's theme night.)

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Anya seriously choked. I couldn't believe she had nothing to show Tim - having all that time to work on her construction could have helped her so much. And she didn't end up with exciting new silhouettes. Just disappointing.

I hated that bubble skirt, but otherwise liked Kimberly's okay. I really liked Victor's prints, since all he has to do is edit I expect he will take it all. I just can't stand Joshua, I don't think I can judge his clothes objectively

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm watching TAR on delay, but already: I love how psyched the twins were to do that elephant stuff.

Did they really get barely enough money for the cab? I forget what they started the leg with.

I'm about to smack that dad upside the head.

And I appreciate that they at least acknowledged that they are in other people's places of worship.

And it's lucky for them that it was the cute blonde twins begging cab rides.

I was impressed with the number of teams who automatically assumed that they would need to reassemble the structure they disassembled.

And oddly, the snowboarders were one of the teams who had to go back and look again. But then, they were pretty distracted trying to get rid of the Buddhism cooties they'd picked up being around all these icky non-Christians.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Now now. They explicitly noted that, against all expectations, they did not feel their skin crawl with the heathen ookiness (possibly the temple was defective).

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Yeah, WTF was that? Way to ruin my respect and admiration for them as a team. I was just saying last week about how much I liked them.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I like Amani so much. She is one kick-ass spouse. I also like how she and her husband do not underestimate the grandparents, speaking of kick-ass couples.

I don't see the grandparents winning, but I bet they could get into at least the final four.

The Department of Fiendish Task Creation pulled a new one -- requiring the reassembly to be done by One partner who didn't do the other task, which randomly selected some of the less-observant teammates, or the ones who assumed they were responsible for half (snowboarders).

The twins got to go out with a big personal bonus -- close contact with elephants, even if it included cleaning up after them. :-) One even got invited to ride behind the mahout!

What the twins SHOULD have done, if they didn't want to beg from the locals, was find a hotel or tourist attraction with a lot of Westerners in it. They might have found a TAR fan who didn't mind driving them around for the day that way.

Was it Amani who thought to ask the taxi driver for his cell phone to take a picture? Or somebody else? That was a moment of genius.
