If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I was sorry to see Danielle go. She was probably the most interesting person left in the house. Back to rooting for Kalia I guess.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Because Jeff is gone?

Jeff and Daniele! Although I still could look at Jeff ALL DAY LONG.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Jesus, Project Runway is a hot mess this season.

The judging is bothering me. I give it one more episode and if the crazy is not reigned in, I'm out.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I thought that both outfits were going to be sold. The problem was that they liked Victor's outfit, but Josh had the better team look. Also, the designers this season are not strong.

Because books.

Also, the designers this season are not strong.

This is where I am. The crazy seems like normal levels of crazy this early on, with this many people still in the competition, but no one is coming across as a real talent.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

No, no one has really impressed me so far.

I can't find Viktor's outfit, but here's Anya's dress. Looks like they took off the stripe of color down the front. [link]

Ah, not available yet, but there are pictures: [link] and [link]

I really liked Viktor's motorcycle jacket, but that crinkly material for the dress looks really messy to me. Anya's dress was just a print maxi dress, pretty ho-hum really and I hated the stripe down the front (ETA: they want $118 for it? Yikes!). I'm glad that Anthony Ryan is staying but man that shorts/jumper thing was hideous.

Judging this time leads me to believe that Nina does have more of a say than Michael and Heidi but Heidi sometimes gets her way.

The designers are all so high-drama without the strength to back it up. I did feel so badly for Oliver. Man that fall looked like it hurt like a bitch. His knees looked a mess, poor kid.

I actually like that we're seeing more of the arguments between the judges, because it makes some of their decisions more understandable.

Yes, I like seeing more of the judges' discussion. Even when they are all totally wrong it's interesting.

What I've always liked best about Project Runway is that it makes me want to sew and this season is not inspiring me at all. It might be the designers. I feel like they are under more time pressure than in previous seasons - every challenge is one day long, seems like - and that that is at least part of why we are getting lackluster results. OTOH, I don't have a sense of any of the designers' POV, maybe this batch just doesn't have anyone presenting a clear vision.

It still does, for me, although this season it's more, "I could totally design something better than that!" Even if I couldn't, you know, actually execute it.

Reruns of S1 are on right now (Style Channel), and it's weird to realize that season started with only twelve. Starting with sixteen is just too many, I think.
