Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own
This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]
Thank you! I couldn't remember.
That's because they weren't memorable.
Was it Marko who did a paso doble with one of the All Stars? I remember the dance and he swung her around his shoulders so her skirt looked like a cape.
And, in regard to Melanie's build, I do like that she's more compact than dancers usually are. While almost all of the ballet dancers you see these days seem to be attenuated, I remember (back in the '60s) seeing Melissa Hayden, I think it was, who had much the same build.
On Master Chef last night - just waiting for Christian to get booted off for arrogance. His quote from last night: "I didn't come here to learn, I came here to win" (or words to that effect).
I hate it when people say that sort of thing.
Also - between him and Suzie - either could have gone and I'd have been glad. (I can't believe that Suzie said that she has "no ego." Hahahahaha!)
I cannot stand him! At all!
I almost yell at the screen every time he is on. I told Beau: he will be in the final 3 even if he serves a dog's dinner on a plate. He is the "villain."
I do not want Christian to win. He treats everyone disrespectfully and with such contempt. I keep hoping he'll piss off Gordon Ramsay and get tossed off the show. I really don't want him to win.
You can totally tell that Gordon doesn't like him.
I know both Joe and Ramsay have called him out on his behavior but I wish something would push them over the edge and kick him out of the competition.
