The "stomping" was ... well, it looked to me like hip hop with boots and some peculiar props. And I think you need more people to make it effective.
Is it that the choreographers are trying to be "different" and put their own stamp on some style? It does seem to be lots of contemporary - with the requisite hair flinging. But these "experimental" (read that with sarcasm) styles ... I mean, bollywood seems to be the kiss of death, they seemed to have tried a Russian (?) dance last season ... if they're trying to see how the various contestants would deal with the demands of professional dancing, I would imagine a lot of those wouldn't come up often, if at all.

I wish they either did more odd or particular styles consistently, or took them out. We only had, what, one other disco this season? And then to throw it in the finale?

It's like the FF on TAR. It really only made sense (from a competition, not production, standpoint) when there was one every leg.

My parents just stopped over as it was starting, and I have to say, Dad was quite taken with Cat. Mom had to drag him away.
Ugh, what is Robin Anton's face? The horror.
I don't much care for Robin Antin, but she chose a good routine, so I suppose she can stay.
It was nice to see Tadd do that dance holding on to the hat this time :)
