I'd love to be able to see Masterchef UK. I watched the first series and I really liked it. It's very different from the US show. For example contestants compete in heats and only the winners from each heat compete for the Masterchef title.
Also the challenges are different. In the first series contestants were often asked to identify by sight various things - like herbs or whole fish. Which I would love to see on the US version.
My mom LOVED Masterchef UK. And I just noticed The F Word on BBC -- I'm going to try to catch one.
Last night Gordon Ramsey was introduced as "the many who put the 'F' into food (foodies?)".
askye,
well thanks for that recommendation. I'll have to internet surf for the BBC version. I wonder if it is on netflix?
SYTYCD - next-to-last show tonight! and tomorrow's a two-hour show, so make sure you don't miss the first/last hour.
Now, don't get me wrong, I shamelessly love disco, but this is what they are giving these kids to work with at the finale?
I love disco, too!
Who's the male guest judge?
Kenny Ortega. Dirty Dancing, Newsies, High School Musical. Choreographer/director.
WE GOT OUR MARK/SASHA/SONYA!
Thanks, zuisa!
Also, HOLY FUCK, MARK. Wow, I like that look on him. My lord.
