Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Master Chef - they're down to the top five. Last night for the pressure/elimination, they had to scale, filet, cut into at least 10 portions, then cook - perfectly - one portion of a king salmon. One big fish per person.

One good thing - as they get closer to the end, the judges seem to be recognizing that those they're eliminating are good and offering consolations.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

That one for the loser last night was phenomenal! It was incredibly generous. She'll be better off in the long run than the winner, IMHO.

Because books.

That was huge, quester! I was so impressed. I also really love Ramsay on this show, and I've never really liked him before this. Whole different side, sort of, but still that edge.

Well, Ramsey's douchery is diluted by the other 2 chefs. The skinny one is more unpleasant, though he doesn't swear and the heavier one is a more pleasant presence than the other 2.

Thrive to spite them

I liked Gordon Ramsay from the UK Kitchen Nightmares. There's less yelling in that. Plus there were a lot of times when he was really encouraging of the different staffs, even if he hated the owners/head chefs. I know there were a few occasions when he offered people jobs or training because he was impressed by how well they did.

I guess I thought Ramsay was just all yelling and profanity? He seems much more helpful and thoughtful in this show.

Joe Bastianich is sort of scary, but I like him. He's got the whole cool air of mystery going. And Graham is just a big teddy bear.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

He's only like that on Hell's Kitchen, and to a lesser degree the US Nightmares. Watch The F Word if you want to see him at his best.
