Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own
This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]
Do you remember BB's Mike Malin ("Boogie"). Well he is suing and being sued by his business partner. What follows is NSFW (no images or audio, just text) regarding details of the lawsuit. Headline has reference to sex.
Claims include the hiring of sexual partners with the name "uncle" and "dad", etc.
Yikes.
Melanie! That was the sweetest thing Mary said -- that in eight seasons her brother has never called her about a contestant before, and he called her tonight about Melanie.
I love Melanie. But I do agree; it seems like she has drawn jazz and contemporary every week, with a couple ballroom and one much more lyrical hip-hop routine - it was nice to see that she can in fact get down and do real hip hop. She's delightful, and I really do feel there is nothing she can't do.
But Sasha is dancing with Kent now? AAAAAAAH. I love them both so much.
I love Melanie, but wasn't so sure about the routine. I couldn't catch the beat of the music, so I don't see how they did.
I have a freakish sense of rhythm, it was always my one really really strong point as a dancer, but it was definitely a very difficult beat.
I didn't love the routine, but I love Melanie, and Twitch, and I love Nappytabs most of the time, so I'm a happy dancer tonight!
Christina's not a bad judge! And Tyce gets a good one every once in a while.
He does! So far I'm incredibly happy tonight. I love this show too much for my own good.
(I'm also probably going to be posting a lot; my computer was in for repairs and I've just got it back so I'm sort of in a deliriously happy place)
I love Lil C!
