I think I knew that and I forgot.

Ugh now for the deciding--I have a 6AM flight tomorrow, do I stay up and watch SYTYCD, or do I trust TiVo, try to go to bed early, and have to wait until Saturday to watch? (Since I don't get home until 10PM and will undoubtedly be exhausted--stupid people who live in places not near airports)
It's an audition show. I'm watching it, and wondering why. Man, I hate the audition shows.
Yeah, it just got rough, huh.
I usually like the SYTYCD audition shows because, at least if someone is bad you can just turn away and not see them. Whereas with Idol you still have to hear them.
Plus I like seeing some of the people who are really talented in their own thing but aren't diverse enough and can't make it through to either Vegas or out of Vegas.
I just hate it when people are clearly there for laughs. Theirs or ours. Oy.
I got really angry about 2-3 seasons ago when it was pretty clear that many of the people they featured were either (1) wanting to be professional comedians or (2) had serious mental health issues.

Yes. I find it interesting to have an occasional "not quite good enough" just to see what the judges are looking at, and then love the ones that are awesome but not right for the show. But the "this is awful and we find that hilarious!" is NOT on. (This is why I'm going to wait a bit before turning it on, so I can fast forward with the TiVo!)
halfway through there is a man who had a breakdown on stage. Skip him.
smonster, did you know that Cheeb is on ABDC?
