Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I had many thoughts while trying to catch up with this thread. Let's see how many I remember...

I was thinking the other day that Neil could do Cabaret, but way dirtier than that came out tonight.

I don't understand why they hated the girls' number so much. And I was annoyed that the boys spent half the time sitting in chairs. Although they were totally about to get dirty. And I loved when Danny winked when he said "This is for you, Nigel," or whatever the line was. I like when Danny gets campy.

I wish they had done more single-gender dances -- like, when it was down to eight, or six, why couldn't they do one couple dance and one small-group? That would have been fun, I think.

I have a weird love of Lacey's "big" legs. I think I like seeing someone who looks substantial doing all that dancing.

I'm afraid Neil is going to win.

I missed the dance - feverish Casper woke up - but based on the costumes - ick. They looked like Osmonds or something.

Just thinking, with all the different dances these four had to learn for this week those poor schmucks must be totally exhausted.

I've been wanting to see Danny and Sabra together forever--this is awesome! They're both so hot!

Thrive to spite them

That was great! It was real cha cha and not just tricks. Although there were tricks but it was a nice combination.

Ugh. Did not like it. They make awkward partners. Maybe it's the height differential.

But Sabra's body is sick. Good lord.

One of the things I like about Sabra (aside from her openness and joyfulness) is that she manages to carry herself according to the style of the dance. Danny always looks at least a little like a ballet dancer, but Sabra had that whole funky butt latin dancer thing down.

That felt like almost two different dances. Taken separately, I liked each half. Taken together, they didn't fit. But it was all fun to watch.

Kat, random question--you seem to know what you're talking about, what kind of dance stuff have you done?

Oh, also, love that they gave Melanie her props finally because she is fierce. I thought the choreo was quite challenging, just wish they could've done a little more with it. They had to have been exhausted, too.

ETA: meara, I danced a lot through college. Started with ballet as a little thing, but most of my training was in modern and jazz. All I know about ballroom, I learned from PBS.
