TC: It was definitely the better of the two outcomes, and I have to admit both meals just looked delicious, but choosing between the two chefs the way they behaved this season was akin to being made to choose whether you'd rather eat tree bark or dog shit. Tree bark won, as it should.
Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own
This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]
I thought that was an excellent final challenge - and they should definitely always choose the sous chefs that way. I was pleased in a mean way that Mike picked the sous chefs he did. . . but it definitely worked out better for him than I would have expected.
Who won fan favorite?
I bet that's announced next week at the reunion show.
It was supposed to be announced during the special after the show, but I couldn't make it to the end. Andy Cohen apparently causes an allergic reaction in me.
From the TWOP recaplet:
I suffered through the horrible, horrible Watch What Happens Live for you people, just so I could find out that the Fan Favorite was Carla, beating out Fabio. You owe me. Mike Isabella was so drunk and braying like a donkey. Ugh.
I don't watch TC, but I see there is a live chat today with Richard Blais at the WP: [link]
So, go ask a question!
Thank you Nora. Now I can delete it from DVR without watching any more of it. I will probably bear through the reunion, mainly for the carnage.
I kept my promise to myself and did not watch TC last night! We'll see if I actually delete it w/out watching...
Is the reunion show next week?
