Agreed. It was only OK, and I'm not sure how much was the choreography and how much was them (though Neil's ridiculous mugging is so annoying me)
(Yay, Flea to the watch and post!)

how much was the choreography
Seriously. I thought it was high school level choreography, so not surprising if it looked like a high school performance.
That looked like a very difficult routine. Lots of lifts, that has to be pretty taxing on Danny.
Yay! I loved that. Thought they were both beautiful.
To touch back on the hip hop, I actually don't think it was the choreo. There were a lot of moves in there that could've been hot, but the two of them were so stiff and, well, bouncy.
ION, Lacey and Danny are so cute together.
Danny calling Lacey on the popscicle stick was hilarious!
I liked the fact that there was very little, if any, mugging by Lacey during that dance. It made it that much more enjoyable. And the popsicle stick. At least she's taking the feedback from the judges seriously.
I think that was the best solo I've seen Neil do. He's definitely come a long way. I still think he's a hunchback, though.
Yeah, he's working hard to prove he should be there.
Best solo ever by the hunchback. Some transitions, some musicality. Didn't fall out of that first turn sequence. Threw the back handspring, double twist, no? And flowed it into the next move. Even less hunch-y. And yet still so very boring. But, you know, props to you, Quasimodo. I think that's about as good as it gets.
This is only the second time I've ever enjoyed the waltz--but I still think Anya and Danny's was better. I didn't like some of the choppy bits of the choreography, which went with the music, but bleh.
Lacey doesn't have the nice extension on her arms, though--it's something I notice on Danny, and while hers is better than it was the time the judges pointed it out, it still wasn't nice, for me.
