"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Masterchef: Yay!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Huh. That was..well, okay.

(Top Chef. Survivor will have to wait until tomorrow.)

Because books.

Yeah, I was ... half interested. Definitely wanted Angelo to shut up about being sick, though.

Just Desserts looks interesting so far. I have to love Gail for (I assume) spearheading a show about dessert. A woman after my own heart.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Huh. That was..well, okay.

Yeah. I think the editing monkeys have been busy this season making people really concentrating on cooking into some kind of soap opera, because they all seemed pretty good tonight. Certainly the food was one of the better finals at least per the judges reactions.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Masterchef: Yay!
Top Chef: Huh.

Pretty in keeping with the rest of the seasons I guess.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Any Top Model viewers? I know editing can make the girls look like bitches sometimes, but I am so not sad Anamaria is gone. Also glad about the judges calling her out on being too thin and distinguishing between naturally thin (Ann) and sickly thin.

Also, I know Ann is tall, but so is Rhianna (she's only 1/2 inch shorter than Ann). They're not making a big deal out of Rhianna's height.

Any Top Model viewers?

Yes! It is comforting in its absurdity.

I was surprised to see how thin Anamaria was during the photo shoot, during the interview last week she didn't seem quite so bag-of-bones, but during the photo shoot this week, you sure could see how sickly thin she looks, and talked about being on a calorie restricted diet at the house too. I was glad to see some of the girls asking her if she was worried about being too thin, because man, she looks really unhealthy. She may be perfectly healthy but man, she didn't look it.

Which I'm sure got back to Tyra and that's why they confronted her about it.
