Tara: Do you have any books on robots? Giles: Oh, yes, dozens. There's a lot of research to be done in order to--no, I'm lying. Haven't got squat. I just like watching Xander squirm.

Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own

Dang, y'all. Tasty just ruins everything. Although I did find it funny that in a routine that was basically a series of set pieces to spotlight different dancers, Mollee got one split leap across center and that was it. Everybody hates Mollee! Also, FP and Ryan were fire in their ballroom section. Everything else kind of sucked ass. There was no cohesion to that piece, no transitions from one awkwardly staged eight count to the next. Yuck.

Also, underwear is not clothing. Live it and love it, Cat.

ETA: Kathryn B2? What is wrong with America?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Given the middle of the season, Jen was lucky to make it this far, so this seems fair. I guess. Meh. It is good to see really strong work all across the board, though!

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Fuck! I was so hoping Mike V. would go home, and I swear they showed more negative judge comments about aspects of his dishes then Jen's. This really smells of producer interference (i.e. getting the brothers in the finals) despite all of Tom C's protestations to the contrary.

OK - rooting for Kevin now, with Bryan V. as a second choice.

I had a strong negative reaction to the opening number. Am I the only one? It looks like the dancers didn't know their blocking well enough and there were too many pauses throughout. I thought it was poorly conceived and a poor use of the stage.

the opening number was terrible. the dancers were hesitant and abrupt in their movements. I couldn't tell if the stage use was poor because the camera work was so terrible (as per usual). I knew it was a Tyce routine because it sucked.

Was that Twitch dancing with LXD? That was hands down the best thing I've seen on TV in a really long time. I want to see that again! It just makes me even madder at the vampire cape/NappyTab crap that passes for hip hop on this show.

I didn't see Twitch. I saw Hok and Dominic, they're both part of Quest Crew, who were on America's Best Dance Crew.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Can I just say how much I hate Cat's dress? It's hard to think about anything else when I see it.

League of Extraordinary Dancers, so beautiful.

Was it me, or did she look really thin tonight?

Huh. Surprising.

I thought she looked skinnier than usual, also, but I think it's just the dress.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

anyone watching "Launch my Line" - I did several double takes when watching the ep because I kept thinking Howie Mandel showed up to participate.
