I think that Dave and Sam both had restaurants in the works that fell through - so probably both of them are re-grouping.
Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own
This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]
Lee Ann totally lives a 15 minute walk from my house! Because I live right around the corner from Kaufman Astoria Studios!! [link] I need to remember to go lurk over there around lunch time when I'm home on weekdays. Not that celebrities probably go the deli, but you never know!
My coworker informed me that that's also where they were doing the Project Runway photo shoot that Keith stormed out of, so he totally ran by my house.

!!!
Right?? There's all kinds of cool shit going on around the corner from where I live, but mostly it happens while I'm at work.

You clearly need a night-shift job! Or be able to work at home.
Celebrity sightings here consist almost entirely of seeing John Waters (it's always exciting but he's always around so it happens pretty frequently) and seeing Wire cast members when they are filming. Dominic West and Andre Royo have been frequenting our neighborhood bar of last resort AND the local Bikram yoga studio (I don't stalk them there because I hate Bikram yoga). Dominic West is living in a condo in a renovated old mill down the hill from my neighborhood and can be seen at their fancy, fancy pool pretty often.
That photo is hilarious, with the notes.
Sad news about Grant Achatz - who I had hoped would be a guest judge on next year's TC (filming in Chicago.)
Have you guys heard of a show - on Spike - in which regular non-police type people - are assigned to solve a murder?
Ilan is a douchebag. And I still love Sam.
You know, I think so too. But, compared to Marcel, he seemed cool. My favorite moment of the show was the fake quick fire: Why does your beef taste like beef? I can still taste the cow. I also loved the Marcel vs________ bit.
I saw a commercial for that last night, Sumi, but I don't know anything more about it.
