I had a dream last night that I was on HK and won. And promptly freaked out because I have never been to culinary school and have no idea how to run a kitchen. Twas odd.
Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own
This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]
Big Brother: I think I love Dick. He is Evil! I know it would be shitty to be in the middle of it, but it makes for good tv. I kind of feel bad for Kail, even though she fucking sucks. Also, he's a student of BB!
Seriously. I wouldn't want to be his daughter, by any means, but I kind of love him. He's like the evil twin of Dr. Will.
Yeah, I'm liking him way more than I expected to.
Jen is - amazing. It's like she's achieved such a perfect level of self-absorption that nothing can seep through. The mustard? Whatev. The people dressed up and trying to distract her? Not a crack in her facade until they actually started playing her, which, seriously, probably the only possible way of getting her attention. I'm kind of boggled.
Jen is truly bananas. What was she saying last week about, "I don't feel bad, really, because I'm incapable of human emotion, but there's something going on inside, which maybe is feeling bad? I'm not sure." It was seriously something like that.
I like the Evil Dick/Evil Dr. Will method of just being upfront in your dickitude. No one will ever feel stabbed in the back. They'll probably feel stabbed in the front, but it's not all this sneaking around fake-secrets bullshit.
What was she saying last week about, "I don't feel bad, really, because I'm incapable of human emotion, but there's something going on inside, which maybe is feeling bad? I'm not sure."
whoa...now I REALLY wish I'd been watching this show!
OK, maybe "incapable of human emotion" wasn't her phrase, but the sentiment was damn close.
HK prizes not all that great.
NFNS: Apparently, Rory had quite the campaign going.
OK, maybe "incapable of human emotion"
Yeah, but you caught the gist.
I think it was more like "I'm not feeling bad for them really. Because I'm not good at that, you know, feeling bad..." and then what Jesse said. Seriously, y'all, it was kind of staggering.
