It turns out the woman had been dumped by her fiance because she wouldn't take her bipolar meds. Very sad.

God, that is really sad. I was hoping it was some performance art or something cool. Not sad!!

Ann, that's a ferret.

Another Tuesday night, another session of bloodwork for Teddy.

Preliminary results -- creatinine steady but still high. Red blood cells way up, but still mildly anemic.

Vet thought Teddy's coat looked better but is still worried that he isn't gaining weight. We may try acupuncture (!) to deal with Teddy's constipation.

He did fight spiritedly against the vet and the tech. At least as spiritedly as he could while being held down by two people who knew what they were doing. Also, it's getting more of an adventure to give Teddy his meds every night.
