the money angle is sufficiently covered.

That's good to read (oh, and definitely don't feel bad about it! I mean, it's not like you're not looking, right? Even with the hobbies and the advantages of life-of-leisure, so why not?). Either way, good luck! And it's also good to read that you enjoy the forced time-off.

Haiku to finish Natter, but mostly to share the agony that I can't stop trying to solve for almost two months now, and failing:

Small size, falls from heels.
Finding shoes is oh, so hard.
Barefoot in wedding?

Happy birthday, vw! (mine is indeed tomorrow)

Thanks for the thoughts, y'all. I'd say I'm feeling cheerier today, but that would be a lie because I am gearing up to spending half a day at doc oc's office.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Oh, good luck with that.

I say go barefoot.

Well, my sister probably wouldn't mind that much, but I would like my mom to continue talking to me, so I'm afraid that's not an option.

Plus, well, it's supposed to be really really hot that day (as opposed to the mere "really hot" that is today), so being barefoot on the pavements and such on the way is highly unrecommended (the hoopah is at the synagogue my father goes to daily, which is right near my parents' place, so I foresee runnings back-and-forth between home and synagogue will probably be quite frequent).

[Edit: 9*9=81. Now if only I could wear a "9" as a shoe on each of my feet.]

Mr. Scola’s wardrobe by Botany 500

From my local paper, last week the cops pulled down a woman who was sleeping on a ledge wearing a bridal dress.

It turns out the woman had been dumped by her fiance because she wouldn't take her bipolar meds. Very sad.

Eliza Dushku looking very pleased, with her boyfriend, some baseball guy.

anyone else notice that his hat matched her dress?

Eliza Dushku does look very pleased, and cute, too. For some reason, she never looks exactly like the Faith I picture in my head, though, which is weird.

Sue, are you telling us monkey's wear diapers under their pants?

That dad was telling his kid that.
