yeah, or if they are expecting anything else from this, letters of rec or help with finding mentors, internships, etc? Useful to point out to them that professionalism counts.

heh. Nothing has been so egregious that I would ding them in a letter of rec., but they don't seem to believe that there are consequences for their actions (or inactions)

There is nothing saying otherwise on the Muni web site, Megan.

Given how whack their own on-site platform announcements are, I have no faith in what they tell me.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Other random note: a bulb syringe to suck snot out of noses is one of my favorite parent-of-newborn tools. But as much as I love and depend on it, Noah hates it in equal an unabashed measure.

I don't know of any babies who like the snotsucker. See also, Lillian shooting her hand out to block the snotsucker heading straight for another baby's face, back when she was still in the infant room.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Massive power outage in SF's Soma district takes many websites offline

Also took the YMCA offline. Let me tell you - being on a treadmill and having the power go out? Not as much fun as you may think.

information libertarian

Casper loved the booginator. It fixed the evil boogers, you see. Dillo, not so much. Much less rational infant.

okay, that's hysterical. Of course if I were a baby, I wouldn't like the snotsucker; K is convinced she's going to pull his brain through a nostril. But he's so much happier after the fact because he can breathe so much easier.

Hint from nursing staff: spray a little bit of saline BEFORE application of snotsucker and it's way more effective.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Hmm, it'll be interesting to see which of my usual haunts online are available...

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Today's edition of I Don't Understand Other People's Clothing Choices: I just passed a woman wearing 4" stilletto-heeled, peep-toe, sling-back shoes; black baggy capris; a hip-length fuchsia sequined tank top; and a shrunken black denim jacket. With kinda frizzy, "my blow-out has given up", overly-bleached hair and peach lipgloss.
