Sad now. But also, pleased to bring you, courtesy of Suela, possibly the craxxiest person on the internets: [link]
Such a pity that, what with the guy being an openly Gay man, he and Victoria Bitters will miss the opportunity to meet and fall madly in love.
Emphasis on the madly.
At least I'm out of the office two days next week, but next week seems so very far away!
Is LJ down for anyone else?
I can't get in, and it's making today even slower.
Funny thing I learned today: I am not nearly as assertive as I need to be.
Lee, LJ was just fine for me. I think it must have it in for you.
And of course in the hubris of just posting that, it is proving to hate me now too. Damn.
Speaking of down, our power has now gone out briefly 4 times in the last half hour. No idea if more than our building is affected. Anyone else in SF having issues?
What's so special about Thursday, Kat?
::acts clueless::
I should really be doing laundry right now.
Lee, LJ was just fine for me. I think it must have it in for you.
Why does it hate me?
ION, if I had stayed home today the way I really wanted to, I would be watching FNL or napping right now.
I've been going through training on software for work that I don't even do at this point in my job, and hopefully won't be stuck doing while I'm at this position, but at least it'll look good on my review in November that I'm doing some educational stuff. This is for a new way to produce our pages for publication that supercedes the slightly older way, but the thing is, the last time I worked in editorial production (six years ago) I was still working on typecodes, not SGML (which is now being replaced with XML), so all of this shit is new to me. I'm just letting it all go over my head, with the hope that some of it will sink in, but since it's all new, I'm just marveling at the changes in the procedures.
LJ is down for me too, Lee. So LJ hates us but loves Kat. Figures.

Uh oh. Does someone at Children's need to be bitchslapped?
