"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Actually, I'm drunk.

Woo hoo!

Call your parents now!

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Have you thought about buying him a chew toy, Sparky?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Actually, I'm drunk.

YAY you.

You're a sick man, Smay.

When my ex-GF was growing up in a bodycast she would lie down on a dolly and scoot around by pushing off with her hands. Sort of like lying down on a big skateboard.

Oh my. The image of that is horrible and yet hysterically funny!

Clearly Sparky's DH should spend his free energy motivating me to do shit this week. :)

If inactivity is ok, but boredom is not, there's always the Pullman trilogy. (Note, I've not read any HP. Saw the first... I think ... movie.)

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

The image of that is horrible and yet hysterically funny!

Or scary in that it takes you to that X-Files episode.

Pullman trilogy

Cannot wait to see The Golden Compass.

I'm putting away baby clothes and sort of "watching" Bourne Supremacy. I cannot believe Franka Potente dies in the beginning! Does she stay dead?

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Have you thought about buying him a chew toy, Sparky?
Yeah, that's a suggestion that can't be read in really wrong ways.

I need brain sorbet now.

She shouldn't! I am all too fond of her in Run,Lola, Run. Erm, that's not relevent, is it?

OK, I don't doubt once it grows out a bit, I'll like it, but I think I told my hairdresser to go too short. Too butch for me right now. It might just be me getting used to styling it, though. Hrm. Anyway, I'll live with it. I think this is the first time in 9 years I'm not 100% satisfied. So that's not bad.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

About an hour ago I was sitting on the couch working on my non-work to-do list for the week, an absolute necessity in the great juggling act that is my life. Annabel was playing on the floor, and she asked me to join her. I said, "I can't. I'm busy right now." She popped up onto the couch, kissed my cheek, and said, "You're not busy anymore. I kissed you and made it all better."

I got down on the floor and played. How could I not?

ION, I'm making lentil soup, and the house smells like bacon and onions.
