"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I suspect the true laziest person will never get up the energy to post about it.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

That is rough, Sparky. I hope the ankle heals up well.

Poor DH, Sparky!

Thanks, Jesse (eta: and Lee). Having that book was a very good thing. I'm wondering if I can find a pool for him to swim in or something tomorrow so he can get some exercise. If we can immobilize his ankle, he could paddle around some and burn off some cabin fever -- which is going to be the toughest part of this for him to deal with, I'm sure.

If anyone has any other ideas for exercise without ankle, I'd love to hear them. We have no gym memberships at the moment, so I can't tie him to a stationary bicycle and let him work one of those with three limbs.

Situps? Crunches? Chinning bar? Pushups from the knee? Dumbells?

Time to build up that upper body! Yay?

which is going to be the toughest part of this for him to deal with, I'm sure.

Toughest for him to deal with, or for you?

He really needs aerobic type to replace the 2-3 hours of frisbee practice. I have, at times, described having this DH as like having a dog. If I don't get him out of the house and run him around so that he's tired, he'll chew my furniture out of boredom.

It's too bad we don't have the technology to do inter-personal energy transfer, because I could have used some of that get-up-and-go today!
