I go online sometimes, but everyone's spelling is really bad. It's... depressing.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

WOO!

Rock on, Doctor Bob Bob! That's awesome news.

Also awesome? The noteworthy Mr. Emmett S. Way to go on that newspaper mention for him, David.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Way to go on that newspaper mention for him, David.

Emmett was very excited to show up on Google's index.

"Will you always be able to search on that and find me?"

"Probably. Maybe when you're 83 you can show your grandkids."

Plei! Juliana found a green nail polish we really want to send you.

Also, my fingernails are black, and a little biy sparkley, thanks to Chanel.

Congratulations to Dr. bob bob!

I want to send bon snail mail after they're married just to do this. I'll couch it as congratulations or something. And include a root.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I still send mail to my parents occasionally as "Dr. [mom's full name] and the Rev. [dad's full name], so I can definitely get behind the Mrs. Dr. bon bon Bob, Esq. thing.

Oh, this is random. I bought a pair of shoes a half-size smaller than I usually wear. I had to ask the saleswoman if she thought they were too small, because it just seemed so unlikely. She was like, "Um, they look like they fit perfectly?" I said, "But this isn't the size I wear!!" I do think they fit, though.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I've got shoes that fit ranging in size from 5 to 6 1/2. Plus some kids sizes 3 to 4, which is approximately the same range -- a 3 in kids is a 4 1/2 or 5 in womens.

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

What a day! I got shiny nails (grey), sandwich (pastrami), the HP book (orangey-yellow), a little flirt with the bookstore guy (tattooed), the last two last-season Dr. Who CDs (red), ice cream (rose), and new clothes (many colors)! Alas, most of the clothes are going back, because while they were so lovely on the models, they make me look fat. I don't know why. I'm pretty sure I'm not. Still, I'm chilling, realizing I got way too much ice cream, and trying to figure out which media extravaganza to begin first.

I did, in fact, pull out HP while walking home just to see what was on the first page. I'm always interested in how she starts the books.

Edited for the subtle and not terribly important but real distinction between "her books" and "the books".
