I'm glad I never watched Standoff.
I'm catching up on Doctor Who and Eureka but I've got a headache.

My weekend plans include watching Profit tonight, then there's shopping, housework, playing with kids. The usual.
Welcome, Bobbi! And go you with the rescuing of aging canines: they need it.
I'm beginning to surf Petfinders for a new beast--my beloved beast died a year ago--but I'm leery of the elderly dogs. I don't think I could take losing a dog again after only a few years. Plus, pragmatically, I want a dog I can run with.
I went to lunch (sushi in Alameda! t waves at SuziQ ) and then to Nordie's, where I spent way too much money--but at least I stayed out of the shoe section, which was a madhouse. And then home and to dinner with family, and now I'm waiting to see if the elder niece wants me to go to the bookstore with her so she can buy HP... she's 17, she can drive herself, but it's literally walking distance from me and she's all of a sudden excited about sleeping over on my futon.
Teenagers: they're so cute!
I think I will watch Jericho.
I think tonight was the last episode of Standoff. I haven't watched yet so I can't judge the episode.
I have to ask, am I misunderstanding the spoiler policy in Natter? Because I walked into a lot more information than I expected to find in blackfont.
Natter policy is whitefont current season discussion. I think people just forgot last night.
I am waiting for Potter reactions! It's 7:30 am! Someone should be done by now. (Note: I stopped after no. 4, so it's academic for me.)
Consuela, those who rescue young dogs whose owners gave them up because they were too energetic and needed running-with are also heroes.
I gave up on the idea of picking up my HP book last night when I started barely being able to keep my eyes open at 10 PM, so I went and laid down and found that yes, I fell soundly asleep. If I'd laid awake until 11, I was going to get dressed again and go out, but if the sleep gods are generous, I take what they offer.

Crap, that was me. Sorry.
Even Homer nods. (Especially if he's Homer Simpson.)
I'm off to the bookstore to buy my belated HP. Probably better to do it when I'm fully awake, right?

Definitely! The group I volunteer with gets Labs of all ages. It just so happens that I adopted all of mine when they were between the ages of 6 and 7; they're now 10-1/2 to 13-1/2. We get more dogs ages 1-6 in need of homes than any other age group. The typical scenario is the undertrained and underexercised adolescent or young adult who is either a stray or is given up by someone who got a pup without considering the pup's needs.
I have to admit that I've never read a HP book.
Okay, a UPS truck pulled up and stopped across the street.
The first UPS truck of the day.
Why wasn't it delivering MY BOOK???
