(What crack are they smoking that they think people have access to cranberries in June?)
I see them year-round around here, if not reliably every week. (I also tend to have some in the freezer, but I have no idea if that would break the recipe-testing rules.)

Well, I've got my HP costume done, but I went lazy and relatively sloppy with it. I had cut out letters to pin to the front of the t-shirt, but the paper and pinning did not go well and I was tearing out my hair. So, instead, I sacrificed a red t-shirt (that's too big for me now!) that I cut a rectangle out of, basted the edges to make them even, then just took a black Sharpie and wrote out "Firebolt", then basted it to the front of my black t-shirt. I also stitched two headbands together in the back to create a little pocket to slip the raffia bundle through. Cool thing I didn't notice until I started to sew it was that the headbands have a little "F" in the front! I also cut another piece of the red t-shirt and wrapped it around the bottom of the raffia bundle so it doesn't rub on my neck when I'm wearing it.
I'm heading over there at 9:00 with my camera in hand, but don't start work until 10:00.

I am very exciting. I am ordering pizza from a new place.
Other than that, I may just try and hermit this weekend. I didn't have one last weekend, so I'm going to have to take my one day this time round and work it. Book on the beach, perhaps?

What if I have a special signed copy of the book JUST FOR YOU? Do I have to leave it on your doorstep?

You leave it in the mailbox, with the cigarettes, right?
...oh, wait. That's not ita.

This weekend no can do--but maybe next? I have an exhaustive schedule of rocking myself and crying and I don't think I can fit much else in.
Which isn't to seem ungrateful--I was more aiming for pathetic.

I wish I could abandon cupcakes on the doorstep.
paperdol, when you think you might maybe wanna visit in these woods?

Gee, I haven't seen a 7% or more raise in...oh, over a quarter of a century. (I've been working for over 30 years.) Clearly I'm in the wrong business. Saving lives. Way undervalued.
Sorry to barge in. New here. Been lurking awhile but only recently registered.
