Ugh Connie. We see that in Florida all the time too. Signs all over that we are in a serious drought and burned out sections lining the highways, and people driving I-95 flicking cigarettes out the window.

Aimee, if you're still looking for Ron/Hermione stories, I like Midnight Confessions by Alloy at the Checkmated website (which started out as a Ron/Hermione fanfic site). It;s another longer story (21 chapters), and veers wildly out of what JKR will end up doing in Deathly Hallows, I'm sure, but it's nicely Weasley-centric and even has an adult-rated separate chapter.

Why stumped?
It's just not an area of the fandom I'm that familiar with. I know of some stories with Ron/Hermione in them, but it's generally in the background. (I'm really good with slash pairings, though.)
