Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

joyously defying gravity

Yeah, this. When you do it in real clothes and don't spend a lot of time pouting and tossing your hair, it's just fun. Actually, it's fun the other way, too, just different fun.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I want to do the pouting. I think I'm have a midlife crisis.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

One of the goth clubs I used to go to had a pole on a stage. It was always fun to watch someone new to the club (usually guys) decide that they were going to try it, because they almost always forgot to take things out of their pockets. Loose change and cell phones everywhere.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Loose change and cell phones everywhere.

Ooh - sexy!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

She makes me EXPLAIN why I'm telling her to read something, too.

Huh. All I do is make gimme hands.

Also, so very earwormed.

sarameg - Jul 18, 2007 12:33:04 pm PDT #8716 of 10001

I have immunity against that earworm. Thank goodness or the crushingness of it might collide with the evil last 10 minutes and I'd rip someone's head off. Possibly mine.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Loose change and cell phones everywhere.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

My old gym had pole dancing. Gotta be more fun (read: less mind-numbingly boring) than regular aerobics.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

A little late for this rec for Aimee, but I like Fernwithy's Shifts for really good (if really long) Remus/Tonks fic. It takes place during OotP, and she has a sequel that takes place during HBP. It does a good job of matching up with the canon, and I love her original secondary characters, as well as the way she gets the Dursleys involved!

brillig

I would possibly pole dance if I knew I was in a room paranoically checked for observation devices and if I had the only key to the lock.
