Take jobs as they come -- and we'll never be under the heel of nobody ever again. No matter how long the arm of the Alliance might get, we'll just get ourselves a little further.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Oh, ita, it didn't help at all? Fuck.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It was very frustrating. Having me prone (or do I mean supine?) for 48 hours and evaluating my migraines is more than artificial, and I told them so. Treating my migraine and leaving my sore shoulder untreated means that I'll be begging someone for meds in a few days. I told them this too, and pretty much had to beg them to treat pain that rated an 8 on the 1-10 scale.

I'm not saying they weren't nice, because many of them were. It was just...well, we started by waiting in Admissions for 4 hours because they forgot I was coming in, and people with bigger problems than me were being seen.

I think they're metaphorical bees. Though I worried for a minute.

Metaphorical bees. Sort of a "our weapons are useless against this bureaucratic snarl" situation.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Oh, ita, that sucks. I was hoping this would help.

Nearly all of the uniformed police I've seen today are wearing baseball jerseys over their uniforms. It's a little disconcerting when they turn around and you're all, "Oh, hey, gun. Wait, and badge. Dude, that's just not cool."

Doesn't this intrigue: http: / /baconvodka.googlepages.com/154450.html?

Right now the page has exceeded its bandwith allocated. But just look at that URL...

I'm disappointed by the lack of magic with the migraine stuff, but...grr.
