Mal: How come you didn't turn on me, Jayne? Jayne: Money wasn't good enough. Mal: What happens when it is? Jayne: Well... that'll be an interesting day.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Dude, the "full of woe" is just a mean-spirited rhyme chosen by someone who obviously couldn't think of the line "Wednesday's child is cool like WHOA."

On the other hand, now we know why Wednesday Addams got that name.

I'm a Monday. "Fair of face"? I suppose, but...

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

The schadenfreude is particularly tasty today. I'm assuming that despite being a personal injury lawyer, Speaker's not certified to defend himself in Quebecois courts should his treatment be successful and allow him to move in society again?

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I'm a Wednesday child! So's Lillian!

We're BORN TO BE GOTH, damn it.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Probably not. It seems like an interesting theory of liability, though.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Huh. I'm a Sunday. "Wise, fair, good, and gay"? Er, okay, if you think so.

The status is NOT quo.

Wednesday's children are gothy like whoa? I can go for that.

ETA: Jilli, I totally see that. Cupcake goth, remember?

Ann, that's a ferret.

I don't know about Canadian law, but in the U.S., just about anyone can represent themselves whether an attorney or not. Which is not to say that Speaker should.

Thrive to spite them

Wednesday Addams was named because of the rhyme.

I'm a Saturday Child, well physically, not so much in spirit.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Email back from a former coworker on Vampire People. She was only vaguely aware of my online life when we worked in the same office. She's just read the book and pronounced it HILARIOUS and wonderful. She's loaning her copy to her sister and pimping it to everyone she knows.

I was waiting for the lawsuits for Andrew Speaker to start rolling in.
