Shit's all sorts of different now.

Anyone watching the Pop Culture World Series on VH1? Cause it's kinda kick ass.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

The raise is good, though!

In weird raise stories, I just got a letter that I got a 3.1% merit raise this year. Last year I was told that the uni did not give merit raises-- everyone always got 2 %. This is crazy, because when I worked for other sections of the university, I one got a 10% merit raise. I asked again about merit raises and was still told that there was no such thing. I guess the first rule of a merit raise is that there is no such thing as a merit raise.

(mind you, the difference is only 14 cents per hour-- and extra $291 per year.)

I am, in theory, though mostly that means that Tivo is catching them for me and I saw some of the first one.

It looks fun though.

What is even happening?

Well, it was a Friday in 1967.

Cashmere's a 1970s baby.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Well, it was a Friday in 1967.

I was born on a Monday. That actually explains A LOT.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I think I was born on a Sunday. Tomorrow, coincidentally, is my birthday. I plan to buy myself cake.

I got a raise. I can never leave this job, no one else would pay me this to do what I do.

oh, sarameg. My sister in well-compensated pain. Eeyore is, like, my totem animal.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Cashmere was born on my father's birthday, which I consider auspicious. Also Margaret Thatcher's birthday, which is ominous. Marie Osmond and a litter of our puppies, which is neutral to cute.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Sure, but it makes next years merit raise come off a higher base. You know, assuming there is a merit raise...

And don't forget Chris Carter. And, of course, me and Matt the Bruins Fan.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Yeah, Friday the 13th not such a thing to be avoided as far as I'm concerned, since I get treated to dinner, pumpkin pie, and presents on some of them.
