Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

my god is it a pain in the ass to adapt tasks done on a unix desktop to doing them on a pc

sarameg, I feel your pain. I work on a unix system at my job and I hate it.

So cool, paperdol! Still haven't gotten to B&N. Maybe this weekend.

Robin, I'm digging your DH's SUV site.

I stayed home from work today to get the place cleaned up before my niece arrives. She's spending the night here with her loser mooch boyfriend on their way to NYC. She doesn't care if my place is a mess, of course, but I do, and this is just the excuse/prodding I needed to get some shit done. So, I finally put together the new table that's been waiting in its packaging for three weeks, and now I have a dining room table that isn't too big for the room, and fresh carnations upon it. Later, I shall do laundry so they have clean towels, and perhaps move some bookshelves around.

I stopped drinking caffeine four days ago, except for the little bit in my green tea, which is nothing compared to the amount of coffee and soda I was sucking down. I have much more energy and I feel less depressed. Huh.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Why do I crave Coke? Please make it stop.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

god. i hope people show up.

They totally will.

I am incredibly tired. It really pisses me off that the more tired I get, the less I can sleep. Yesterday I had to wake up at 5:30. OK, fine, whatever. Today I woke up at 6:30 all on my own!

And I don't want to do any work. So there.

Yeah, what is up with that? I complain to my housemate last night about how hard it has been to wake/get up at 7 this week because I feel so tired, and then this morning I wake up at 5:30 for no good reason.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I managed to get about seven hours of sleep last night, which is a lot for me (I usually average 5-6 hours during the work week). At least the weather's been cool enough the past few days to offer really comfortable sleeping temps--I even had the sheet over me last night!
