"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Nothing against ginormous, but I think that we're getting cavalier about adding new words to the dictionary. I mean, how long is "crunk" really going to be around? (and they seem to have defined it wrong, or at least left out a definition, in the article)? This is the kind of culture that makes "wrongheaded" an allegedly real word.

Now, you kids get offa my lawn! waves cane

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Michael Rasmussen has always looked like Skeletor.

If anyone doesn't want to be spoiled for the Tour: I can't believe Vinokourov fell. It's like someone put a curse on him.

Compassionately intolerant

application architecting * workflow designing * info managing * db wrangling

I like it!

I have a friend watching the Tour in person. His email updates are pretty awesome.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I love it everytime he says "My wife Robin..."

Me too, Hec. I'm a big schmoopy doofus.

And thanks for bookmarking!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I love watching people's circumstances change for the better.

I have a chocolate cupcake for breakfast. I love it when people buy me chocolate cupcakes.

Tea's not hot enough, though. That is sad.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Ooh. I forgot to have lunch. Well, that I can fix.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I've only been catching as much of the Tour as homework allows this year; sadly, my usual pattern of "watch the big start live at nothing o'clock, then don't worry if I miss the rest of the first week because it's all boring, flat, and Belgian" has been failing me this week. I keep missing demolition derby and OMGMONSTERSPRINTBATTLES and only having time for the highlights.

Sigh.

Weird year, which I kinda knew it would be (for a whole lot of reasons that go beyond the big doping madness, but definitely including the bdm). Dana's whitefont made me sigh. Vino is always one of my big big loves and he just KEEPS having random shit happen. wtf, oh ye gods of the bicycle men?

Rasmussen is always so terrifying to look at.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

amych, the A/C guy was here, so I didn't see what happened. I'm trying to catch it in the rerun of coverage, but apparently the cameras even missed what happened. Vino has a really ugly-looking hematoma high up on his leg. His team completely killed themselves to get him back into the main field, but he still didn't make it. He lost about 1:20 on the main field.
