oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Um, can lower GI stuff manifest in back spasms? Cause there seems to be a time correlation between that and nearly barfing at work when my back inexplicably seized up (and slowly worked down, it was freaky) a la hormonal cramps.

oh yeah, says some one who is waiting for the side effects of the antibiotics from last week to go away

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

My stylist has awesome lighting. Her studio is in the front part of her loft, so it's all soft and gauzy. Plus you can drink wine and watch So You Think You Can Dance. Or look out onto downtown and smoke.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

OMG, people, good hair salons should not make you look like shit in the mirror! If you like your hair, ok, but that's something they should fix.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Huh.

My home phone stopped working at some point last week, so I made an appointment on Monday for AT&T to come fix it on Friday, but at some point today, the repair man was in the neighborhood anyway, so he stopped by and even though I wasn't home to talk to him, he figured out what the problem was and fixed it from outside my apartment, even though I wasn't there and it was two days early.

I'm kind of gobstopped at the level of service.

Which is kind of sad, but still.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Lee, I'm jealous. It took me several months and 4 service calls to get the phone company to finally fix ours. Seriously, 4 service calls. Each guy would come, agree that it was most likely a problem with the line coming into the house, and then leave without fixing it. I coulda kissed the guy who finally went up the dang pole and fixed it.

Um, can lower GI stuff manifest in back spasms?

Just as a FYI, so can a kidney infection. Be careful.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Yo, Hec! How's it going?

It's going okay! Emmett is now hooked on ANTM. He totally gets sucked into reality shows. He was also into Shear Genius and JZ has him watching Top Chef too.

He was hating on Monique tonight.

Emmett's all-star team has a chance to win their district tomorrow night. That would be awesome.

I have to finish my book by next Wednesday. I have to become more awesome.

Art Crawl!!!

Traveler: Now I must agree that there's got to be a reason that they cast people so similar looking to play Will and Tyler. There were several times during tonight's episode when I thought that Tyler was Will and Vice-Versa. Also the timeline for tonight's episode has me confused. When the heck did Will have time to travel back to NYC from Boston? Or was the tattooed guy in NYC?

Guh. Jealous!

You sure? I was thinking maybe they needed the strong lighting to make sure hair colors come out right, or something.

Actually, I was mainly thinking that I really am that pasty and ugly, but I know these other people aren't.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I was thinking maybe they needed the strong lighting to make sure hair colors come out right, or something.

That's what I thought, too. But really if that's the case, my hair will look good at work and maybe not anywhere else. I'd rather they worked in something approximating sunlight.

Which reminds me, I think there's a salon in Princeton that has skylights or something. I should check.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Oh good, sumi. I haven't watched last night's yet, but it's been driving me crazy that half the time I'm not sure who's who. I'm glad it's not just me.
