Oh, yeah. There was this time I was pinned down by this guy that played left tackle for varsity... Well, at least he used to before he was a vampire... Anyway, he had this really, really thick neck, and all I had was a little, little Exact-O knife ... You're not loving this story.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

It is pretty dead here today for everyone but us lackeys in Admin. However, I care not, for tomorrow is a holiday, plus I am taking Friday off for the inpection of our New House (Yay!) followed by a trip to the dentist (boo!). Plus I am sneaking out at lunch today to meet the DH at a plumbing and kithcen store around the corner to look at cool stuff we can't afford.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

We're leaving at 2 for New Orleans. I have packed and cleaned the kitchen.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Mmmmm, I just had a piece of homemade cheesecake. There is another piece left. I wonder how long my will-power will hold out.

Okay, I am running out of work again. I guess I'll go stare at pictures of Frank Iero for a while.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

My dad just called to tell me he bought 300-thread count sheets at Target for $30. I thought that he was bragging about the good price, so I said "Good job!"

Dad's reply? "When did sheets get so expensive?!?"

The ensuing conversation revealed the fact that the man hadn't bought new sheets for 15-20 years. I don't EVEN want to know what his sheets look like.

My parents have some like that. They're just very, very soft and faded.

Off to torture.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Oh honey, the mentally unwell people have been in the fanbase since Game Changers was Stucky fanfiction on the internet. The calls have been coming from inside the house the whole time!

Steph, tell him about the fitted sheet I paid $320 for if you want to see his head implode.
