brillig

I do love skulls, though. My fingers are itching to create something like this. With somewhat less expensive jewels.

Oh, good, I'm not the only one . . . science and educational stores sell plastic put-together skulls, and artsy stores sell rhinestones and such. I'm planning on practicing the technique on a plastic egg before I go for the skull.

You people have NO IDEA how badly I want that thing. I just ... nope, words fail me. Sparkly skull! Spaaaaaarkly skull!

I think I scared Hubby when I suddenly went "WAAANT!" when watching the story on TV.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Has anyone seen my brain, or at least the memory portion of it?

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Yes. It was headed south, towards TJ.

Damn it.

I mean sure, I didn't use it much, but it still came in handy from time to time.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Are you north of me? Should I run out to the 405 and see if I can catch it?

I hope your brain packed a passport. Border guards are getting more demanding.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I'm sure if it looks healthy it will get through just fine.

Our wings are not tired.

Laura, I just saw Knocked-Up, and I was thinking it might do a decent job of warning a 15 yo about Real Life Consequences. AKA, scare the crap out of him.

Well, if he and the GF go see it against my advice they get what they deserve. Kid had both Health (aka sex ed) and Driver's Ed this past year in school. I enjoyed him having to endure the icky pictures and videos in 2 classes.

School's out for summer. What a relief.

Now to go watch basketball.

Art Crawl!!!

Congratulations Kalshane!

(Re: argument (arguement; argument - where the heck is my dictionary?) about respective heights of Jared Padalecki and Lee Pace - they should guest on each other's shows -- so that we can compare and discuss with proper data.)

Also: latest British accent warning on BBCA goes something like this:

The following show contains accents that you would be more familiar with if you hadn't thrown our tea into Boston Harbor (etc. etc.)

Right before the Graham Norton Show.

Damn, I was hoping it would get turned back, since I didn't see Laga's offer on time.
