Gunn: The final score can't be rigged. I don't care how many players you grease, that last shot always comes up a question mark. But here's the thing. You never know when you're taking it. It could be when you're duking it out with the Legion of Doom, or just crossing the street deciding where to have brunch. So you just treat it like it was up to you—the world in balance—'cause you never know when it is.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Good school in a great neighborhood with active and involved parents. Hmmmm....Downside is the commute. Upside is nothing to grade.

I don't know how much of downside the commute is, but that could definitely be a make or break. Although the other stuff sounds damn good.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

The commute would be a bitch. Prolly at least an hour on the way home. Faster on the way there.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Cute house, Robin! YAY!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Robin! Excellent.

Ocean-lover, here.

I don't core apples for apple pie, and have in fact made pie with unpeeled apples.

I feel I waste either time or apple with my cut-around-the-core method, but I've been assuming that coring isn't difficult, I just never had the tools. Is it?

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Congratulations, Robin! It looks fantastic!!

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I have a nifty device that cores the apple and divides it into 8 segments. very handy for pie. so, I peel the apples, press down with the gadget, and throw them in the pie.

I have one of those, too! But I don't make pie. I just eat the sliced apples.

I should make pie.

I'm watching the Eureka panel discussion that sumi linked in Boxed Set. So much fun. Can't wait for July 10th.

Yay for Robin and J's new house! Even closer to the dog park, too!

Unsurprisingly, there is photo documentation of Noah's record-breaking chugging and zonkitude.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I got a call from work last night at 2:00am, and I couldn't fall back asleep. I'm covering for a coworker today, and I got into work at 7:00.

I was planning to go to a party tonight, but I'm going to have to flake out now.

In good news, I finally found a song I've been looking for forever!

Trust my rage

The pictures of Noah chowing down are so cute. On at least one, he totally has this, "What? I'm hungry!" expression.
