"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I love the book cover, Allyson.

You did a good job fighting for what you wanted.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I have an alibi! Swears!

Really? Because they found a lung on the floor.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

The cop behind me had to squeal his brakes to avoid rear-ending me because he was busy watching the guy trimming his lawn with scissors.

well, in all fairness, the BTK killer used to trim his lawn with scissors. I'd be watching that guy, too.

Allyson, love the book cover, can't wait to read it.

Wow... I just spent a lot of happy time looking at those pictures.

In fabulous news? Mom bought me a wee chunk of land [link] near Joshua Tree National Park. It's part of Nolina Peak and I am so happy. They are trying to add to the Park and I approve. There's a bit of land there that will never be touched with my name on it. Happy.

I said I had an alibi...

Uh-huh. Say, you don't happen to own a muumuu, do you? Hmm?

Lies. All lies. I haven't seen my lungs in a week, maybe ten days.

Pay no attention to the shiny bathtub I have now.

Uh-huh. Say, you don't happen to own a muumuu, do you? Hmm?
You know, I'm starting to feel a little judged here. It's not a mumuu, it's flowy garment suitable for hiding a gold tub!

Shiny bathtub next to a pointy lilly thing? Containing a one-lunged woman?
