She's terse. I can be terse. Once in flight school, I was laconic.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I want to be supportive of Allyson, but Don Rickles used to talk smack to Sinatra. I don't think anyone's snark-fu is stronger than his.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Catchy title. Freaky subject.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Yeah, but he's old, and the crown must be passed on to the next generation... or to someone a few generations down the line....

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Catchy title.

I havehad a copy of that. It's pretty good. I loaned it to one of my cousins. I wonder if I can get it back.

This is just sad....

Zackey has come under fire for allegedly instructing the devout to look into the sun to see the Virgin Mary.

The 17-year-old has been inundated with people seeking prayer and healing since she claimed to have started seeing visions of the Virgin Mary some weeks ago.

...

Zackey reportedly advised a Gauteng woman, Amal Nassif (37), earlier to look at the sun, and if she had faith, the Virgin Mary would appear.

Nassif stared at the sun for about a minute and lost her sight.

"I can't seen anything. There is a large dark blind spot," she was quoted as saying.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I didn't know Kristen was a race person too.

We're being surrounded, or over run, or something.

Are some of the internets slow for anyone else?

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I didn't know Kristen was a race person too.
Hey, neither did I. It's AWESOME!

JP also won the Busch Series race in Mexico City earlier this year. But this was his first Nextel Cup win.
Yes, but this gets him more cred. And, in the record books, it's an important distinction. I mean, I liked the Busch win, but this one matters on the technicalities more.

Next up: he needs to win on an oval.
Kinda thinking it's gonna happen. Maybe not this year. Because I'm not positive that Ganassi's got the package for that this year. Today leaned a lot on the fact that JPM is just wickedly awesome on road courses and plays kinda dirty. Which works in Cup. So long as everybody doesn't decide they want to wreck him every week...

Okay, Kristen knows racing. I am gonna happily boggle at this for a moment.

It's the legacy of my time on DRIVE. (That and an addiction to Special K Bars.) I tuned in to the race at Fontana to see our cast there and got completely sucked in by all the engineering.

Yes, but this gets him more cred. And, in the record books, it's an important distinction. I mean, I liked the Busch win, but this one matters on the technicalities more.

I think that, until he wins on an oval, he's going to be a little low on cred. Given that his two wins were on road courses and, until today, he's never led a lap. It's an impressive showing for a rookie year but I sense he'll be carrying that open wheel driver baggage with him for a little longer.

Because I'm not positive that Ganassi's got the package for that this year.

I think the other teams are going to start catching up with Hendricks and Chevy soon. Though I'm curious to see what shakes down this week with the Gordon and Johnson teams. Unlike the violation with Junior's team a few weeks back, it seems clear that these teams were intentionally trying to work the system to their advantage. It makes me wonder if NASCAR is going to be extra hard on them because of it.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Bob says that he is always available in a philosophy emergency.

Aw! She's a lawyer, he's a freelance philosopher. Together they fight corporate crime and existential crises! (Plus, it's a feel-good romance!)
