Oh Laura. What a story! In an odd way, Bob's toothache saved his life?
It's humbling to see how a slight movement, this way or that, can bring us to unexpected moments.
Much recovery ~ma and calm assurance ~ma to the families of everyone mentioned in the last couple of days who need it.
Whew. What a story.
Laura, I'm so glad he was where he was, and will keep him in my thoughts. Give your big guy a hug from me, because I know B's got to be just shaken to the core. (Err, I should specify that I mean hug your DH B, that is.)
Lessons learned from the Buffistas: I was about to reply to an email and start the reply with "Mr. X," based on the first name, when I suddenly remembered that that is bon's first name, and thus could be female. Which, well, leaves me with no opening, BUT at least I won't start off by possibly offending them.
Know what's weird? Clicking on a used car for sale link, and seeing my backdoor in the pictures. It is a car dealership, so it's not super-creepy, but I didn't know the car in question was at that dealership.
Thanks. I think I am going to collapse and get some sleep. The phone calls and emails will wait until morning. Friends have my kids for the night since I didn't know when I would get home.
Oh Laura, I'm so sorry! Take care and good night.
But fast walking has never seemed particularly lesbianish to me. If that's the case, I'm definitely a lesbian.
Hmm. I walk fast, and I'm a lesbian....and I have met Nutty...and I wouldn't have been super SURPRISED if she were a lesbian, but...uh...more the women's college thing than the walking fast, I'm betting.
Laura, I'm glad it turned out as well as it did. Huge hugs to you.
Hugs for you and Brendon and all the health~ma I can muster for Bob, Laura.
How do I say something "climaxed" -- as in, it's not over but the most important part is over, and it's just clean up now-- without sounding like I'm talking about sex?
I know this is a little late to the game, but "crescendoed"can work for this.
'Bitter hate better soothes the soul than any virtue.'
Can anyone translate that into Latin?
