I'm fairly certain I said no interruptions.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Yay! As of 11:06 board time it's now the Summer solstice! (for those of us North of the equator).

Yay Summer!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Yeah, the grin on that girl's face is tremendous, Allyson.

I only really read the bits of the article around the picture, therefore more about her mindset and the martial arts, and I'm totally instituting the "drop and give me five" rule for wanton apologising in class.

I've lost most of my kettlebell weight and my kettlebell strength, so that article is extra sniffle-inducing.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I keep trying to sell the writer on Krav. You've got me pimping, and I've never been.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Why, why, why did I let the people at the going away lunch talk me into having two drinks. They had two beers, and I had two vodka gimlets. And now I am at work, trying to be sensible.

Compassionately intolerant

Happy Solstice to one and all.

Announcement: I have two Shih tzus (should that be a capital T?) staying with me for four days...who's person is even more neurotic than I am about her furfriends.

Analysis: There is a veritable herd of cute in my house...Bartleby is not so sure about the interlopers...and this is going to be complex.

There is medicine and special food and 'he has to sleep between your legs' and 'the other one can't be out in the heat (it's currently 90F).

Hoeboy.

Good on you, Allyson. It's a shame that you can't train down here, and I do miss Polgara too. Think she'll ever get better?

Has anyone here ever made a life mask? Theatre folk? I'm suddenly curious about them.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

Made, as in done the crafty work for someone else's face? Or made as in had one done on yourself?

I've had a life mask made of myself. It was an interesting experience. Didn't bother me at all, though I understand that if you're at all claustrophobic it's an excruciating experience. Also, I've been told by people in the know that the people most resistant to having it done to them are the action stars. My guess is it's a control thing, because you really are placing your trust in the hands of the make up artist doing the cast.

Are they hard to make? Resource intensive?
