Everything looks good from here... Yes. Yes, this is a fertile land, and we will thrive. We will rule over all this land, and we will call it... 'This Land.' I think we should call it 'your grave!' Ah, curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal! Ha ha HA! Mine is an evil laugh! Now die! Oh, no, God! Oh, dear God in heaven!

Ann, that's a ferret.

Happy Birthdays, ita's mom and Steph's mom!

I suspect we're being haunted in a very pleasant way.

Sounds like two nice dreams.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Belated comment on the term "bright" as the new atheist brand:

"Bright" is a more succinct ways of saying "Please beat me up and shove me into a locker".

A "T" Tower in the San Francisco bay would go well with the new East span of the Bay Bridge.

Happy Birthday, Moms!!

Windjammer Barefoot Cruises have always looked like great fun to me.

I've never been on a cruise, but if I do take one, it'll be with these guys. More expensive, less things to do onboard, but it looks like the best way to relax in the sun for a week.

My dad and sister, both of who have taken multiple cruises on standard cruiselines, recommend Norweigan Cruise Lines and Princess, but Dad stresses to avoid Carnival completely.

Dilemma: My boss was supposed to take me to lunch today. She called at 8:45 to say she'd be in late this morning (her son is in town and is leaving today) and isn't here yet. Our lunch date was 22 minutes ago. I didn't bring a lunch, obviously. I am starving. I have no cash, because I was planning to be treated to lunch.

I guess I don't want advice. I can't call her at home; even if she came it would be 1pm before she got here. I just need to AAAARGH!

Yeah, you know, I didn't want to be the one to say that. It's also begging for real life object lessons, not unlike "Moral Majority."

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Thanks, Vortex. Noted for review.

I have no idea what my parents want out of a cruise, I realise. I mean, I play dress up with the best of them, but dinner dress codes like some cruises have chap my ass.
