All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Happy Birthday, Plei! May visions of Winchesters dance in your head.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I just got the date for my book party/reading/signing thingy in Pasadena. September 1st. Whoot!

Also, I have jury duty the week my book comes out. Boo.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm wearing a red wrap with a dusty pink top. Part of me is convinced that I'm committing a large evil, but my eyes are not offended. I hope the fashion gods are kind.

September 1! That's all real and near and stuff.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Slow Natter day....

Nothin' exciting in the myriad of blogs I follow either.

Random bit from Conservapedia:

Take the Pleistocene Epoch. Most scientists know it as the ice age and date it back at least 1.6 million years. But Conservapedia calls it "a theorized period of time" — a theory contradicted, according to the entry, by "multiple lines of evidence" indicating that the Earth is less than 10,000 years old, as described in the Book of Genesis.

ita! I just saw Colin for the first time ever on my tv screen.

They have this show on after the midnight news. Last night I didn't turn off the tv after the news, so it kept sort of playing in front of me (it's not the first episode, and I didn't get to watch it before). Suddenly there was a face there that I knew that I *know*. But not knew in the sense of "seen it in some other tv show or movie before". Which was so very confusing. It took me a little forever to realize that even though I know this face from pictures, even from pictures with my friends, it is indeed the face that's on the screen, and make the connection and realize that it's him. Gun!
