Kat, I'm so sorry.
sarameg, good for you.
Seth Green, mini dork. Oddly enough, the site where I found that link also had a link to the same Batsuit--which I didn't see until just after posting the LJ link here.
Oh, watch this when you have audio. I very much wanted Seth to say, "Nobody deserves mime, Buffy."
guilt via dentistry is so interesting.
Kat, I am so sorry it came to this, but I hope you get Grace somewhere you feel confident in the care.
guilt via dentistry is so interesting.
Oh hell honey, it is so much broader than that. It encompasses guilt over all things physical. A close friend yelled at me about my body-doctor-phobia-ways recently. I'm really a postergirl for avoidance of judgement. Totally my own issues, to my detriment. And Miss Contrary knows it, but still screws it up.
Funny thing? My mom had the same thing. And warned me repeatedly against doing this. And paid the same price. And what did I do? Phbbt. I don't learn easily. I need a manager.
What everyone else already said, Kat. I'm sorry this has been so hard and wrong for you and Grace.
The Closer: Wasn't it brilliant how they
cast three different actors who specialize in playing troubled teens so you wouldn't know which one to blame?
and they all
look like boy prostitutes. or is that just they roles they always play
?
I hate writing up use case scenarios.
not if it's as twee as the condom cases marketed towards women.
I....kinda like those. I can't explain why, but they exert a strange power over me.
On a related note: Batsuit.
Those boots....GUH. The boots made me all knee-wobbly and drooly fangirly.
I think you have to choose, Steph. You can't be both those women.
Okay, I like this condom case. Batman would totally carry that.
Kat, I hope you get Grace to the right place. Or at least out of the wrong ones.
vortex, maybe - at least two of them
have been on Veronica Mars (Kyle Gallner and Kevin Sherida "Kim") - I can't find the name of Kyle's character's bf.)
Just got back from making bids on two houses. The DH, former agent and negotiator extraordinaire, thinks we will get the house we both love the best. I think it will be too expensive, but nothing ventured, nothing gained. Our second choice is also very cool, but the neighborhood is not nearly as nice--but if ultra-cool house doesn't work out, then we will go for that one. Since both houses are bank-owned, we have to wait a long time to find out if they are going to consider our offers. Yikes.
