This girl at school? She told me that gelatin is made from ground-up cow's feet and that every time you eat Jell-O there's some cow out there limping around without any feet. But I told her that I'm sure the cow is dead before they cut its feet off, right?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

If I could read the damned prescription, I'd call ahead and make sure I just do the one trip. But it makes sense to take advantage of a lull in pain (I didn't end up doing any laundry, but I totally will on my way out to the pharmacy, I promise. Swear to the Grown Up Gods.) and get shit accomplished that I patently won't be able to do when I'm in that very need.

Besides, copying my Dr. Who files over to the main computer will take a little while. I wish I'd been conscientious about collecting the Confidentials. Bad fan. Bad, bad fan. Hmm, I suppose that might be on the DVD sets I've not yet bought, though...

Art Crawl!!!

Daily Puppy! Doesn't she look like a stuffed toy?

Also, Debet - m aybe brownies could be used in communion because chocolate is the food of the gods? (Or does that mix Christian too much with non-Christian? But isn't that what Christianity does anyway?)

The problem with chocolate (laundry and prescription in a second, honest) is that it's too godly all by itself. It'd be too much of a risk of having people just worship the chocolate. People who come in just for the chocolate, or who get distracted from the Jesus guy (who completely fails to leverage omniscience and mention chocolate at any turn).

Best to keep them separate.

Art Crawl!!!

That would be an issue. Fortunately nobody suggested cupcakes for communion. (Or did I skim that?)

ION, FNL fans apparently, there was some sort of event with an episode screening and a forum on June 12th and this lucky LJer got to attend.

ETA: Variety article on FNL.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

But wouldn't that also be an issue with the pot?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Nah, they'd just all meld into one.

And I know whereof I speak. I knew a guy who used to go sit up on this hillside and smoke pot all the time. Then he started bringing a bible (and the pot).

Today he's a monk. An honest-to-god, live in a monastery monk.

In Conyers, of all places (Ginger will get this).

I've had pot. And chocolate. I think chocolate's the bigger distractor. I never felt like more God was needed after the right chocolate torte. All Godded up, thanks. And decently Goddessed as well.

Chocolate has closure. Pot is about opening.

Hey, anyone know how dosages (I'm not finding the right word here) work? My previous prescription of Percocet was of 10-325mg pills (which is not 10 pills of 325mg each), and this new one is 7.5-500mg. I'm assuming that I'm getting 175mg more oxycodone in the new pill, but what's the 10 vs. 7.5 bit?

tylenol, I think, ita?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Actually you're getting 175 more acetaminophen and 2.5 more oxy.

Bless. Right. It's got acetaminophen in.

Good job.

Hey, while you're spot on the nose, can you tell me why my DVD burning software thinks I can burn DVD9 discs? Should I bother do the research and then go get some?
